Mobile App Development

ENGAGING YOUR STAKEHOLDERs WHEN AND WHERE IT SUITS THEM

We only recommend an app when it is right

It’s important to us that you get the right solution for your needs, objectives and budget – for example we would never offer to build a mobile app if we felt you could achieve the same app-style capability, for less money, on a mobile-friendly website or a bot.

That’s why, before we even start to think about the build, we talk to you about what you’re trying to achieve, and then work back to be absolutely sure that a mobile app is more suitable than say, a web app, a desktop app or a bot. We recommend building mobile apps when you want:

Enhanced interactivity

Apps can be built to interact with all the features and other applications on the device.

Wider reach

Your app will reside on the AppStore, Google Play and/or Windows Marketplace, so you’ll automatically be getting your app in front of people whose intent is to download an app.

Improved user experience

Smartphone apps function more quickly and smoothly than mobile sites.

Fewer limitations

They aren’t limited by a browser and can be used offline.

Native and Hybrid development underpinned by Web Services

We aim for efficiency and value for money for all our clients. So, we offer two approaches, one is using Xamarin, which allows us to “write once” in .NET and C# and deploy to the big three platforms. The other is native development. Both have their advantages and disadvantages. Our preference is the former, but we would work with you to agree the preferred approach.

Support after live

Once we’ve delivered your mobile app, we will transfer the Intellectual Property (IP) Rights to you. We offer you full training on your app, on site or at our offices in Bolton and London - if needed. Providing an optional ongoing support service, with an agreed service level agreement (SLA) and access to our in-house developers via our helpdesk.
